Pacific Fish

Deep into the waters of the world
Lies a silent and curious creature.
Like a fox, he is cunning;
Like the ocean, he is tranquil.
He is the Pacific fish.

At first glance, you can see him
Catching the sunlight on his scales:
Shimmering like diamond sparkles,
Nothing like you have ever seen before.
He is the fish of beauty.

Ask about him, and you will discover
One thing that will remain certain:
He is smart, excellent in any aspect,
Swimming as if he knows where to go.
He is the fish of intelligence.

Hear the echoes of the deep blue sea
And it will resound his name of majesty.
The corals he built and the colors he painted
Are wonders that the world treasures.
He is the fish of excellence.

But when the sun goes down to its rest
And only the moon shines on the shore,
You will see the Pacific fish in a silent corner
Where no other fish goes,
For it is too dark that no light escapes.
But he enjoys it, or does he?
Is he the fish of mystery?

In the middle of darkness where one knows none,
No other creature can tell you a story.
You will only hear the silence of the waves
As they crashed the invisible corals broken.
It is so deep that no sound can escape.
But he is there, weeping without a voice;
Is he the fish that doesn’t make a noise?

In the depths of the trench where nobody lives,
The only color is the dry embers of sorrow.
You can only glare into a dark abyss
And nobody is there to observe the bliss.
The darkness envelopes any creature that is near
For it is too scary, and the pressure is choking.
But he dwells there until the sun rises again.
Is he the fish that hides within?

The Pacific fish is a mysterious being.
No one knows what he is hiding.
Despite the projection of a beautiful being,
There lies the truth that nobody is seeing.
